They grinded the shingles down to bare wood, primed and stained my house according to the original plan and schedule. Along the way, they identified opportunities for additional repairs and clearly communicated what would be added to the cost and timeline if I chose to have them do the added work. I didn't feel pressured to accept the additional cost, they clearly presented the pros and cons, as well as different budget options and creative solutions.
